Background

Dr Parikh completed his specialist General Surgical training through the Liverpool and St George Hospital networks, with further experience across several metropolitan and regional hospitals in New South Wales. He was admitted as a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) in 2023.

Following his general surgical training, Dr Parikh undertook a Surgical Oncology Fellowship at Prince of Wales Hospital, gaining experience in breast and endocrine surgery, oncoplastic breast surgery, head and neck surgery, sarcoma and skin cancer surgery. He subsequently completed a dedicated Breast and Endocrine Surgery Fellowship at Concord Repatriation General Hospital.

Dr Parikh further advanced his endocrine surgical expertise as a Senior Clinical Fellow at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in the United Kingdom. Working within a high-volume tertiary endocrine surgery unit, he gained extensive experience in complex thyroid, parathyroid and adrenal surgery, including re-operative procedures and minimally invasive adrenal approaches.

In 2026, Dr Parikh was awarded the Fellowship of the European Board of Surgery in Neck Endocrine and Adrenal Surgery (FEBS), reflecting advanced training and expertise in endocrine surgery.

Dr Parikh is actively involved in surgical education and research. He serves as a Clinical Lecturer with the University of Sydney He has published widely in peer-reviewed journals and presented his research at national and international surgical conferences.

Dr Roneil Parikh is an Australian-trained Breast, Endocrine and General Surgeon. He specialises in the surgical management of breast disease and thyroid, parathyroid and adrenal conditions, with particular expertise in minimally invasive adrenal surgery, neck dissection, and oncoplastic breast surgery.

Working across the public and private healthcare sectors, Dr Parikh holds appointments at Concord Repatriation General Hospital and Strathfield Private Hospital. He is actively involved in multidisciplinary care and regularly contributes to the collaborative management of patients with breast cancer and complex endocrine conditions.

In addition to his subspecialty practice, Dr Parikh has extensive experience in elective and emergency general surgery. He provides evidence-based, compassionate and individualised care, guiding patients from their initial consultation through surgery and postoperative recovery.
